Team Collaboration

Based on the Mercer 2017 Global Talent Trends Study, organizational structures are shifting from vertical hierarchies to more simple, horizontal structures. In addition to the structure changes, talent demographics is shifting. New generations with new mindsets on business and their optimal work environments are entering the workforce, teams are more global than ever before, teams are shifting from department based to project based and team are consisting of multiple workforce types: freelancers, part-time, contract and agencies are working side by side with full-time talent. All these trends reinforce the need for effective team collaboration and companies to weigh team performance higher than individual performance. To meet growth objectives, companies need more than a couple super stars requiring new talent strategies. Successful teams are comprised of highly adaptable team members who can determine which types of behavior are most appropriate in certain situations. And the most effective team members are those who can effectively deal with their teammates’ different behavioral styles and motivators, because they’re able to match the team’s purpose and critical tasks with the strengths of each team member, all while meshing with other groups within the organization. We assess your team, analyze the results and provide insight on how to leverage individuals to maximize team’s potential. The benefit: The use of science and analytics to understand the entire team dynamic, gain a complete picture of the “how” (behaviors) and “why” (driving forcing) of team and identify areas of need or potential tensions within in a group. This information is then used to create effective teams, enhance communication among the team, predict future workplace situations and spot trends that may be impacting the team’s performance.
